Premier may have something, I'm not sure. I drench for internal parasites because it's safe and quick. When injected, Velamisole can have a deadly reaction, when used orally, it is effective but not deadly. Be somewhat skeptical when reading wormer recommendations made by pharmacutical companies, their advise is the reason many wormers are no longer effective.
Try www.sheepmagazine.com/issues/27/27-5/John_Kirchhoff.html for an article on using cultural and management methods to control worms.

A drench for sheep is a dewormer used once or twice a year used to rid the sheep of various parasites and worms. When you drench sheep you use a dewormer purchased specifically for that purpose. It is concentrated, you mix it with water, the way we administered it to our sheep was to place the amount into a large syringe without a needle on the end, placed the syringe into the side of the mouth as far as it would go, still holding onto the syringe pushing the end of the syringe so that it slowly pushed the liquid into the sheep's mouth so that they could swallow. You give the sheep an amount according to how much they weigh. We would drench our sheep every other year, alternating with an injectable dewormer, done just before they are put out onto pasture in the spring. Sheep are one of the worst animals for parasites so it is best to use different methods of dewormers so no resistance is built up.

The effects of oral drenching in sheep are going to depend on the kind of medication in the drench. There are many different drenches available. I'm sending you information on four or five different types of drench. You can draw your own conclusions about the effectiveness and adverse effects of each one. Most of the sites are put out by the company who market the product, but They have to be very straightforward about information put out about medicines.
