South Carolina was once mostly agricultural - today it has many large textile and other mills that produce much more revenue than its farms. Steel products, asbestos, chemicals, pulp, machinery, and apparel are made in Charleston.
Top agricultural products are cattle, broilers and turkeys, watermelons, nursery and greenhouse products, and peanuts. The state ranks high in tobacco and peach crops. The only commercial tea plantation in America is in South Carolina on Wadmalaw Island.

I wasn't able to find an agricultural map online, but I did find some information that might give you an idea of what products are common in different areas. You might also try looking at an atlas, since they often have maps showing the industries common to different areas. Talking to a reference librarian might also be really helpful.
